Tony Warner is a Los Angeles-based writer and producer with a professional background spanning film, television, sports broadcasting, music and entertainment.
Before working at Paramount Pictures, Warner spent years in sports broadcasting, including work with Fox Sports and Fox Soccer Channel, giving him firsthand experience with the intensity, preparation and storytelling surrounding major sporting events.
But ONE WEEK IN MOBILE comes from somewhere even more personal.
Tony Warner is from Mobile, Alabama.
Years before creating the series, he worked around the Senior Bowl in his hometown and witnessed firsthand how the event brought together college football players, coaches, scouts and NFL personnel—all focused on young athletes standing at the edge of the biggest opportunity of their lives.
That memory became the foundation for ONE WEEK IN MOBILE.
The series combines Warner's connection to Mobile with his experience in sports and entertainment to tell a character-driven story about four young men arriving with the same dream—making it to the NFL—while carrying very different expectations, families, pressures and futures.
